Our 1st floor bedroom was our original palapa casita consisting of a bedroom/living area, bath and kitchen. A roofed porch and hammock palapa.

Several years later we added our 2nd floor bedroom. It has a small balcony off the bedroom and a 14' x 29' palapa covered rooftop outdoor living area where we spend a lot of time.
